"Dib" is a Thai word meaning raw, crude, imperfect – which defines this museum's philosophy. Purat Osathanugrah founded the institution in honor of his late father, Petch Osathanugrah, envisioning a personal art space that feels authentically cool rather than exhibiting the polished perfection of typical museums. Proudly positioning itself as "Thailand's first museum dedicated to international contemporary art," Dib houses Osathanugrah senior's prolific and diverse collection of global contemporary works as its permanent foundation.
